The Coalition for Patient-Centered Care recently submitted two letters in support of the California Legislature’s push to rein in private equity in healthcare. SB 351, introduced by Senator Cabaldon, and AB 1415, introduced by Assemblymember Bonta, would both limit the ability of private equity to take over independently owned physician groups.
